失蜡铸造 又称脱蜡法，熔模法、拔蜡法、出蜡法是一种铸造方法，中国古代在青铜铸造上已经使用这种方法，现代的精密铸造中称为熔模精密铸造。中国最早以失蜡法 铸造的器物属春秋晚期，是河南淅川下寺楚墓中的铜禁等，而其工艺的精湛标明并非初始的制作。而纤丽奇绝的制作，楚地贡献最大，曾侯乙墓的尊盘也最受称道， 其上密布的蟠虺纹玲珑剔透，穷极繁缛富丽，即是失蜡法制成。失蜡铸造，原理很简单，不是青铜器很复杂，做模很困难，那么就先用蜂蜡一类的虫蜡，雕一个铸造铜器原蜡型，由于蜡很软，可塑性强，可以雕琢·焊接·整理·修正；蜡型制作满意后，再在蜡样外面一遍遍湖涂细泥浆，慢慢地，蜡样便被严实地包裹住了，这层厚厚的泥浆也就成为了外范。待整个外范晾干了以后，便可将泥范烤火800度左右蜡液通过注口倾泻，随着高温铜液的注入，铜液则占据了蜡模的空间,冷却之后,去掉外范,与蜡模一模一样青铜器就诞生了。 砂型铸造 砂型铸造可能是最古老的铸造，仍然是一个常用的方法，砂型铸造一般使用木模 铜模 或者原样一分两，进行造型铸造。对小型铸造厂投入低，开工快，技术简单。铜倒入砂模，可以创建一个独特的外观，这可能是工匠的首选。砂型铸造，是最明智的铸造，如果铸件不具有令人难以置信的吸引力，那么这种方法是许多可取的。
